A new poll found that Arab American voters are evenly divided between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in the race for the White House.

According to an Arab American Institute (AAI) news release on the poll’s results, the Biden Administration’s “handling of the crisis in Gaza has eroded Arab American support for Democrats, resulting in a now evenly divided community.”

The new nationwide poll, conducted online from September 9 to 20, 2024, “examines Arab American voter preferences in the presidential election, issues of concern influencing their vote, and some measures of their civic engagement.”

AAI, which has conducted polls of Arab Americans for 30 years, said on Tuesday it will release the full breakdown of the survey results on Wednesday.
