Invoking “Pizzagate,” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s prediction for October has her foreseeing one candidate would be a victim of “misinformation” which was a surprise all its own.

Deflection and obfuscation remained the name of the game for the twice-failed White House hopeful as she sat for a lengthy conversation with PBS’ Margaret Hoover. As she called for corporate media to maintain a “consistent narrative” about the supposed dangers of former President Donald Trump, she argued Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign would be victimized by “concerted efforts to distort and pervert” her personally and politically.

Late in the “Firing Line” discussion that kicked off with the former first lady contrasting freedom of the press “between autocracy and democracy,” Clinton made her prediction about an October surprise claiming, “There will be concerted efforts to distort and pervert Kamala Harris, who she is, what she stands for, what she’s done.”

Ignoring how her supporters had been tied to the origins of “birtherism” against then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama (D) and the more serious implications of her 2016 bid for the presidency involving the Steele Dossier and concerns over her use of a private email server for classified files, the Democratic figure instead turned to “Pizzagate.”

“I mean, look, I mean, the crazy story about me running a child trafficking operation out of a basement of a pizzeria,” she said as the live audience laughed. “Don’t laugh. It was a huge story. And it got one young man in North Carolina to get in his car with his, you know, assault rifle and drove up to liberate these nonexistent children and shoot up a pizzeria in Washington, D.C.”

“This is dangerous stuff. It starts online often on the dark web. It migrates. It’s picked up by the pro-Trump media,” Clinton alleged. “It’s then reported on by everybody else, which makes sure it has about 100 percent coverage, and people believe it.”

“So, I don’t know what it’s going to be. But it will be something, and we’ll have to work very, very hard to make sure that it is exposed as the lie that it is,” she added in closing.

In case it wasn’t wild enough that Clinton suspected Harris and not Trump would be a victim of “misinformation” only four years after corporate media and Big Tech had coordinated to squash the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop just ahead of the election, the secretary also lamented to Hoover that she was “the most investigated, innocent person you have ever met.”

“He basically ordered his attorney general to reopen an investigation into me,” she contended of Trump, who would go on to face two impeachments, the sham Jan. 6 committee, and the extensive political persecution of multiple indictments after years of claims about “Russian collusion.”

“He ordered his two secretaries of state to reinvestigate me. They investigated the Clinton Foundation,” Clinton continued. “You know, I’m the most investigated, innocent person you have ever met.”

The Democrat’s protestations of “reverse psychology” had many suspecting she was guilty of precisely that as they awaited to hear what “truth” would break about Harris before Election Day.
