U.S. Rep. Elisa Slotkin (D-MI), a Democrat candidate for the U.S. Senate in Michigan, shared brutal internal polling data for Vice President Kamala Harris in a swing state that is viewed as a must-win for the Democratic Party.

“This is… I’m not feeling my best, right now, about where we are and Kamala Harris in a place like Michigan right now,” she said in a clip via Axios.

“We have her underwater in our polling.”

The Harris Campaign views Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania as must-win states, mainly because former President Donald Trump has long held a polling advantage in North Carolina, Georgia, and Arizona.

Although paths exist if Democrats lose, Pennsylvania and Michigan are considered crucial because the states have largely voted left of the other two Rust Belt swing states in recent years.

Michigan, which has a large Muslim American population, has produced concerning results for the Biden-Harris Administration since the start of the War in Gaza.

Joe Biden faced a major “uncommitted” campaign, through which Michigan Democrats were ordered to vote “uncommitted” to send a message.

More than 10 percent of Michigan Democrats voted against Biden, surpassing the 10,000 vote target.

Meanwhile, the Trump Campaign capitalized on the turmoil, highlighting the former president as a peacemaker who could end the Gaza conflict.

Months later, Trump picked up an endorsement from Ameer Ghalib, the Democrat mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan.

The Hamtramck mayor played a crucial role in the uncommitted campaign against Biden as the movement soon evolved to “abandon Biden” and now, “Abandon Harris.”

Harris is now holding just a one-point advantage over her Republican rival in Michigan, according to a New York Times/Sienna College poll.
