A couple of years ago, Kamala had everything to do with the border but now that she is running for president she wants everyone to think she didn’t oversee the worst border crisis in American history. At best, the left wants to pretend as if she got to the “root cause” of migration, which is even more pathetic because no one gives a crap about “root causes” when all they have to do is enforce federal immigration law. Nonetheless, she never got to that “root cause” and America is still under an alien invasion. And because the situation is so bad Kamala has to pretend to care, which is why she is “checking a box” and doing PR at the border.

The Border Patrol union has a message for Kamala and her pathetic PR stunt.

“After years of not just ignoring the problem, but helping create it, Vice President Kamala Harris is finally headed down to the border. This is nothing more than for her to check the box, but what it is in reality is a slap in the face towards the men and women that put their lives on the line every day, and also a slap in the face to the American public. Where has she been?” Art Del Cueto, VP, National Border Patrol Council said.

That quote sums it all up perfectly. It’s not just that she spent years ignoring the issue, it’s that she proudly created it. Her actions over the last four years are so reprehensible that she largely focuses on things she may or may not have done years ago.

Her promise to fix the mess she created is claiming she was a “border state prosecutor” or that she allegedly went after “transnational gang members.” Unclear why she was not in favor of prosecuting people while being vice president or even now, as she is the de facto president.

Why couldn’t she put anyone behind bars during America’s worst immigration crisis? Why does she need more agents when all they must do is enforce the law? And why is she trying to stand on her lack of record from years ago and not her record as vice president? And for goodness sake, why can’t she do any of that right now?

As the border council said, Kamala’s visit is nothing more than a slap in the face, as she mocks Americans by pretending to give a crap about any of this.
