Even in friendly territory, Kamala can’t answer a question…
MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle attempted to get answers from Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris Wednesday night with little success. Kamala continued to dodge questions on the economy, price gouging, and more — but it didn’t matter! Rhule and nearly every anchor on the network let Harris off the hook.
Rhule recounted the interview with both Nicole Wallace and Chris Hayes. When it came to questions about the economy, Ruhle concedes “She didn’t answer the question.”
“One could watch and say she didn’t give a clear and direct answer. And that’s okay, because we’re not talking about clear and direct issues,” Ruhle told Hayes later in the evening.

Kamala fails to explain how she plans on tackling “price gouging” without implementing price controls.
That’s exactly what her plan is — Venezuelan style price controls. pic.twitter.com/zcboNd9mTU

Vice presidential candidate JD Vance shared his skepticism about the interview earlier in the day on Wednesday, stating it was “legitimately pathetic” that Harris is running for president without being heavily scrutinized and vetted by the press.
“This is legitimately pathetic for a person who wants to be president. Ruhle has explicitly endorsed Harris. She won’t ask hard Qs. Kamala runs from tough questions because she can’t defend her record. If you want open borders and high groceries, vote for status quo Kamala.”
