Hillary Clinton has reappeared on the campaign trail to coach Kamala Harris. Today’s show gets into what she wants in return.

Although she lost in 2016, Kamala has the power to appoint her to an unelected position if she’s selected.

Clinton released a book seven weeks before the election, called “Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty.”

Clinton can be either the “most dangerous person in politics” or “relevantly inconsequential.”

According to Axios:

The publisher, Simon & Schuster, says she’ll offer a “warning to all American voters,” along with “her unvarnished views on politics, democracy, the threats we face, and the future within our reach.”

Why it matters: I’m told it’s a “very personal” book that includes the former secretary of state’s reflections on marriage, friendships and getting over losing.

What they’re saying: The book, coming Sept. 17, “reads like you’re sitting down with your smartest, funniest, most passionate friend over a long meal,” says Priscilla Painton, Simon & Schuster editor-in-chief.

In an interview with CBS News’ Erin Moriarty, Clinton indicated she would “unofficially” work in the Kamala-Walz regime.

In an interview with CBS News’ Erin Moriarty, Clinton was asked if she would want to play a part – officially or unofficially – in the White House should Vice President Kamala Harris win. “Well, certainly, unofficially I want to be as helpful as I can, and would do anything I was asked to be helpful,” she replied. “We have so much to do that it really should be all hands on deck. And anybody who can help in any capacity should be willing to do so.”

Clinton also said she would be willing to contribute in any way towards a Harris victory. “I’m gonna do everything I can between now and the election to help her get elected — everything that I’m asked to do, everything that I can think of to do. And then I would be, you know, more than willing to offer any advice or help that she might think appropriate to help her become president and to help her be the best president she can be.”

According to Crowder, Clinton is striving for a “misinformation” position.

In 2021, she said there has been “a global reckoning with the disinformation, with the monopolistic power and control, with the lack of accountability that the platforms currently enjoy.” Clinton also called for the “formal deprogramming” of MAGA “cult members,” and by “formal” she means “government programming.”

She also believes that Americans who spread “political misinformation” should be “criminally charged.” It’s unclear what she means by political misinformation but being politically incorrect is legal in America and her lack of self-awareness is astonishing.

“She really wants to be able to jail and silence political opposition,” Crowder said. “That’s what she really wants.”
