Harkening back to his relationship with Olivia Nuzzi, Keith Olbermann shared some “overarching thoughts” that included, “I am beginning to suspect she likes old guys.”

A September surrogate scandal found the Trump-supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. threatening legal action after an alleged “personal relationship” with the reporter, nearly 40 years his junior made headlines. Having his own dating history with the now-on-leave writer from New York Magazine, Olbermann offered his take on the plausibility that Nuzzi had sent Kennedy nude photos.

“I mean, I’m sure she’s not a completely different person than she was when we dated — but maybe,” he said on the Tuesday installment of his “Countdown” podcast. “I am left with a couple of overarching thoughts. She did some weird things during the three- three-and-a-half years this lasted. Sure I did too.”

Among anecdotes about spending time with her family and reestablishing his love for dogs, Olbermann brought up how Nuzzi had illegally entered the home of Corey Lewandowski, the onetime campaign manager to then-candidate Donald Trump.

“But nothing I know about her then or now suggests Olivia would have kept sending a guy nude photos unless he wanted them,” continued the former MSNBC talking head.

The chronically online commentator went on to add, “I don’t want to go out on a limb here, but I am beginning to suspect she likes old guys. I mean, she was going to marry one who was 20 years older than her. Also, I’m old!

As had been reported, since Nuzzi’s employer learned of the “personal relationship” with Kennedy amid her coverage of the 2024 election, she was placed on leave, and details of her split from her now-former fiancée, Politico’s Ryan Lizza, became widely known.

Meanwhile, conflicting stories referred to exchanges with Kennedy as little more than a “flirtation” while security expert Gavin de Becker suggested the environmental attorney had been “chased by porn” to the point he was pursuing a lawsuit.

Olbermann noted that his commentary on his relationship with Nuzzi was prompted by the New York Post doing a story, citing him as saying of their dating history, “That’s online. It’s public knowledge,” and, “I keep my personal relationships close to the vest.”

The newspaper went on to detail that Olbermann had also gone on a number of dates with commentator Laura Ingraham in 1997 and now-Arizona Sen. Krysten Sinema when she was a state representative in addition to having a relationship with reporter Katy Tur from 2006-2009.

On X, he stated, “We didn’t do much to keep it quiet. I just assumed nobody cared. Certainly, it has nothing to do with the RFK stuff. I also assumed it had been covered online somewhere. Nearly all of it was really nice and ([God] help me) wholesome. In fact, it was she with whom I got my first dog, and for that, I’ll always be grateful to her. Anyhoo, I’ll put a few basic details in tomorrow’s podcast because bluntly if somebody’s gonna bring this up I’m not giving the story to them. What am I, the free Nuzzi News Network?”

Of course, Olbermann has not remained wholly silent about the Nuzzi-RFK story as he slammed the former White House hopeful on social media reacting to the potential of a lawsuit by writing, “This psychopath and serial woman chaser @RobertKennedyJr is talking about having @OliviaNuzzi ARRESTED? I excuse none of her conduct but the dynamic just changed here. F*ck him. He’s an utterly irresponsible pile of sh*t. You participate in these sexts and they become a problem, you call her boss. Faster than 10 months later. This is now about how RFK JR needs to be controlled and punished.”
