A little help with the grocery bill…

While campaigning in Pennsylvania on Monday, former President Donald Trump went viral for giving one hundred dollars to mom of three Jenny Kantz to help with her grocery bill.

“Here, it’s going to go down a little bit,” Trump said of the grocery bill as he handed Kantz the $100. “We’re going to do that for you from The White House,” He added.

“God bless you,” Kantz is heard saying.

“It was a great experience,” Kantz told Fox & Friends Tuesday morning.

“The total bill was $194 and some change, and the inflation on groceries has definitely affected us,” Kantz explained on Tuesday.

“I think it was late 2022 or early 2023, I remember coming home from the grocery store and telling him [Bryant], ‘I don’t even know how to budget for groceries anymore because it’s like every time I go to the store, they just go up and up and up.’ That, paired with the rising cost of energy, fuel for our vehicles… it just means that we watch a little bit more closely what we spend.”

According to Consumer Affairs, the Keystone State saw the highest grocery inflation rate in the U.S. with an 8.2% increase in prices.

Conservative commentators shut down Democrats calling Trump’s actions a “federal crime.”

“If Democrats think Trump helping a random woman buy groceries is a “federal crime” (it isn’t), then what do they call it when Biden ignores Supreme Court decisions to use taxpayer funds to pay off student loans of hundreds of thousands of Democrat voters? A RICO conspiracy?” posted popular X account DC_Draino.
