Liz Cheney continues to linger in the public eye after she was run out of Congress by Republican voters and is now calling for a new “conservative” party to counter the America-first influence of Donald J. Trump in the GOP.

The disgraced former congresswoman appeared at the Capital Times Idea Fest in Madison, Wisconsin where she sat down for an interview with Peter Baker of the New York Times, airing her grievances with the former president and suggesting that it’s time for the neocons and Never Trumpers to pick up their toys and go elsewhere.

Cheney told Baker – who is also an MSNBC analyst – that “far too much has happened that’s too damaging” to the Republican party since Trump arrived on the scene with voters hungry for a new direction focused on the troubles at home instead of the costly foreign wars and globalist escapades favored by the discredited Bush-McCain-Romney old guard.

“Can the party purge itself of Trump, is that something that can happen?” Baker asked.

“We need our political system to reflect the goodness of the American people… Whether it’s organizing a new party – look, it’s hard for me to see how the Republican Party, given what it has done, can make the argument convincingly or credibly, that people ought to to be voting for Republican candidates until it recognizes what it’s done,” she said.

“And so I think making sure that on an individual basis, we’re casting votes for serious, responsible people – that we’re encouraging people to get involved and run,” the former J6 committee attack dog continued. “There is certainly going to be a big shift, I think, in how our politics work — I don’t know exactly what that will look like. I don’t think it will just simply be… the Republican party is going to put up a new slate of candidates and off to the races,” she said.

“I think far too much has happened that’s too damaging,” Cheney added.

When asked by the reporter whether it’s time for a new party, the malicious actor answered, “It may well be because again, so much of the Republican Party today has allowed itself to become a tool for this really unstable man.”

Such a party would only pull votes away from the GOP and would be a big win for the Democrats if it ever comes to fruition.

It was Cheney’s fanatical obsession with that “really unstable man” that led to her political demise when voters in her home state of Wyoming delivered a humiliating comeuppance to Cowboy State icon Dick Cheney’s daughter in the 2022 primary when she was pulverized by nearly 40 points by her Trump-backed opponent Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) who represents the state in a way that the whining faux conservative never did.

Beloved by the left-wing media, Cheney recently showed just how “conservative” she really is by endorsing Kamala Harris for president along with her father, even though she previously denounced Joe Biden’s vice president as a “radical liberal” who would destroy America.

There are few political figures who are more unprincipled than Liz Cheney and that’s why she’s an establishment darling.
