When we set up the interview with Kash Patel to talk about his final installment in the Brave Books trilogy, “The Plot Against the King—Return of the MAGA King,” we had no idea we would be discussing not one but two attempts to assassinate former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump. So, even though this last selection in the trifecta covers the conquering of the Deep State, the elephant in the room was this most recent attempt, which required a reframing of the initial questions.

When we did speak on Wednesday, Patel was just as floored as I was that keeping Donald Trump alive would be the biggest challenge of the 2024 campaign.

After Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe’s press conference, we were informed that former President Trump now has the enhanced protection afforded to sitting presidents and high-level protectees that his campaign requested. But it still begs the question, what needs to be done to ensure no more attempts happen? Should resources be taken from other high-level protectees to ensure the top or the potential top of the Executive Branch is fully covered? I wondered why a former Speaker of the House like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) still needs a detail. Patel explained the why.

If we can have multiple teams protecting multiple people that aren’t running for president, can’t we have a little bit better protection for the guy running for president?

I couldn’t agree more. And that security issue dovetails into the history and truth that these upper-echelon agencies appear to want to snuff out, along with the former president and Republican candidate. This is why Patel wrote “The Plot Against the King” series, to shine a light on the darkness and corruption that plagues our government.

“The Plot Against the King 1” explained the “RussiaGate” hoax, and “The Plot Against the King 2” focused on election integrity and why it’s important. “The Plot Against the King 3” wraps the story up in a bow, illustrating the first assassination attempt with an epic battle between King Donald and the Dragon of Jalapenos (DOJ), engineered by the wicked Queen Comma-la-la-la. Patel tells the story in a way that is accessible to young readers, and allows parents and grandparents to have deepening conversations with their kids and grands about this weighty political landscape that is fraught with unseen danger. Patel said,

The trilogy continues in my mission to educate America’s children and bring the truth to light. I fully believe that history sides with our kids, and election integrity matters. I will always fight for these important issues and am excited to bring another bestseller into the homes of American families and the schools across our great nation.

Patel also encourages childless men and women to buy the book, as the lessons embodied transcend age and preserve history in a unique and engaging way.

Dependent upon how this unprecedented 2024 election plays out, these books could well be collector’s items. You can purchase all three books of the trilogy at the Plot Against the King website, along with Patel’s nonfiction book, “Government Gangsters.” This one has been made into soon-to-be released film.
