Vice President Kamala Harris just can’t seem to give up her bowls of freshly prepared word salad, no matter how close to the presidency she is.

During a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, she served up her understanding of “children of the community” and it sure is something.

This could be Harris’s somewhat clunky attempt to incorporate the “it takes a village” phrase that has been touted by Democrats – specifically Hillary Clinton – into her campaign. It is something that parents have been wary of, as many view it as an attempt to normalize children belonging to people other than their parents.

But whatever she was trying to say, she missed her mark:
