Guys, no need to worry.

The “experts” have spoken and we’re not going to know who won the election for days after election night. No big deal.

Here’s how Time builds the narrative that it’s natural and normal to not know who won the election for days and days and days.

On November 5, voters across the country will head to the polls โ€” and then wait as the ballots are counted to determine the next President of the United States. But there’s a good chance Americans will go to sleep that night without knowing the winner …

Counting mail-in ballots takes longer because the process involves additional layers of processing and verification that in some states can’t begin until Election Day. ‘There’s a much more complicated process that election offices go through in terms of getting those ballots and confirming that they are from registered voters,’ says Jen Leighley, Professor of Political Science at American University. The ballots themselves have to be unsealed, and verification sometimes involves matching up a signature or photo ID.

Weird … because Florida can do it all in a single day with DeSantis’s election rules. Including absentee and mail-in votes. But because some swing states aren’t competent to implement such a system we’ll have to live with the 2020 madness the rest of our lives??

In 2022 we saw the test run of the Florida model, and they passed with flying colors. Meanwhile, those swing states have a broken system they don’t even attempt to figure out.

Here’s a little about how Florida figured it out.

Florida Gulf Coast University Political Science Professor Dr. Peter Bergerson says state leaders made changes to how the state handles election season.

‘They put in some additional guidelines, more money for better machines, more professionalized training,’ Bergerson said.

That includes passing legislation that allows local counties to start counting mail-in ballots 22 days before election day.

State law also requires early voting ballots, in most instances, to be completely counted on the day before election day.

Results from early voting must also be posted within 30 minutes of the polls closing.

So it CAN be done!

And Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, etc. can’t do it because … ?
Don’t worry, the 2024 election will be totally free and fair!

Here’s more from Time.

In some states, including Florida and Georgia, mail-in ballots are processed ahead of Election Day. In other key states, including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, processing doesn’t begin until Election Day, which can lead to delays in a tight race. In roughly half of the states, voters are able to ‘cure’ their ballots in the case of minor errors, such as a missing signature or photo. In some cases, voters are able to cure their ballot a few days after Election Day, which can further drag out the count.

Weird. Republican states can figure it out but swing states with Democrat leadersip seem content to drag it out for days or even weeks.

Almost like it’s intentional …
