Better late than never it seems as fact-checks come in for some of Vice President Kamala Harris’s devoid-of-truth claims during her debate against former President Donal Trump.

In a surprising admission, ABC News host Martha Raddatz finally got around to branding a Harris claim “false” while also acknowledging one of Trump’s remarks was actually true, despite what the Democrat nominee and obedient media lackeys declared.

During an appearance on ABC News “This Week” on Sunday, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey was asked about Harris’s assertion that, “As of today, there’s not one member of the United States military, who is in active duty, in a combat zone in any war zone around the world for the first time this century.”

“Our fact-checkers found that to be false… there are currently 900 US military personnel in Syria, 2,500 US troops in Iraq, all have been under regular threat from drones and missiles for months. We also have action in the Red Sea. We also have, every single day, Navy SEALS, Delta Force, special operators, can be part of any sort of deadly raid. So why would she make that claim?” Raddatz asked.

“Well, I think that what’s important here Martha is that Kamala Harris, in contrast to Donald Trump, demonstrated herself to be commander-in-chief,” Healey responded in a jaw-dropping reply. “We’re in a world where there are all sorts of conflicts. And it’s all the more reason we need somebody who’s serious and who supports the military.”

Though Raddatz pushed back, the governor insisted that it was just “a comment in a debate.”

“I think the point that she was trying to make was a broader point. And of course, we have military in place all around this country. That’s important, we’re the United States of America. Kamala Harris is the person who stands with NATO, who supports our allies, and is working to bring our countries together. Donald Trump stands with Vladimir Putin. I think that’s what’s really important,” Healey said.

“Harris respects our military…our servicemembers…Donald Trump calls them ‘suckers’ and ‘losers’ and it’s why Donald Trump’s former military generals support Kamala Harris,” the Democrat asserted, deploying yet another debunked lie about the former president. “They say that Donald Trump shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office. And I think those are the points, Martha, that people need to understand.”

Though Raddatz lost the logic debate with the governor, she did note in another fact-check that despite the media hype and false claims on Trump’s remarks about late-term abortions, he was proven right once again.

Harris had declared that “nowhere in America is a woman carrying a pregnancy to term and asking for an abortion. That’s not happening.”

In fact, Trump’s assertion that some states allow late-term abortion was borne out by ABC News itself in a report before the debate giving a “state-by-state breakdown of abortion laws.”

“At least nine states have no restrictions based on how far along a woman is in her pregnancy and many have recently added amendments enshrining the right to abortion in their state constitutions,” that report read.

More than 67 million viewers tuned in to watch the Trump-Harris debate, according to Nielsen ratings. The audience numbers for the fact-checks on Harris that followed didn’t even come close.
