During that incident, Trump narrowly avoided a fatal shot by turning his head at the moment the gunman fired, with speculation that shrapnel, rather than a bullet, caused the injury.

The nature of Trump’s injuries from the Pennsylvania attack has been the subject of widespread speculation, with theories ranging from FBI Director Christopher Wray’s assertion that Trump was hit by shrapnel to more bizarre claims suggesting that Trump faked the injury using a blood capsule.
