Donald Trump was golfing at the Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, when shots rang out nearby. The former president and Republican nominee is “safe,” according to his campaign. 

According to the New York Post, two people exchanged gunfire outside the golf course. The shooters were firing at each other, sources told the paper. 

Further details weren’t immediately available. The Trump campaign released a statement saying the former president is fine.

Trump survived an assassination attempt on July 13 at a campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania.
