Controversial remarks led former President Donald Trump to react to activist, supporter and “free spirit” Laura Loomer.

Throwing anything and everything at the wall to see what sticks against the GOP leader included corporate media zeroing in on the extent of Loomer’s connection to the Trump presidential campaign. The extent of the coverage that HBO’s Bill Maher and the ladies of ABC’s “The View” talking about her ultimately led the onetime commander-in-chief to issue his own statement.

Taking to Truth Social Friday afternoon, Trump unequivocally stated, “Laura Loomer doesn’t work for the Campaign. She’s a private citizen and longtime supporter.”

With that made clear, he continued, “I disagree with the statements she made but, like the many millions of people who support me, she is tired of watching the Radical Left Marxists and Fascists violently attack and smear me, even to the point of doing anything to stop their Political Opponent, ME!”

Pivoting the subject to matters more directly pertinent to American voters, Trump added, “I am now in California, which Democrats like Comrade Kamala Harris and Governor Gavin Newscum have completely DESTROYED. I will turn it all around and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! — DJT.”

The president had reacted similarly during a press conference at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes Friday when Loomer had been brought up by a reporter.

In response, Trump expressed, “Well, she brings a spirit to us that a lot of people have. We have very spirited people and, in all fairness to her, she hates seeing what’s happened to the country, I guess. I mean, she hates see what’s happened to the country. So do I. It’s very sad. It’s very sad when I have to stand out here on my property and see how bad California is.”

Attention focused on the activist this week as a controversial social media post about Vice President Kamala Harris had preempted a public war of words been Loomer and Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R).

As had been reported, Loomer had posted on X, “If @KamalaHarris wins, the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that nobody will understand.”

In response, Greene had used her own personal account to contend, “This is appalling and extremely racist. It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA. This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever. @LauraLoomer should take this down.”

While further barbs between the former friends were exchanged on the social media platform, Greene had also told reporters outside the Capitol Wednesday, “This is such an important election. I don’t think that she has the experience or the right mentality to advise.”

“I do know this, that her rhetoric and her tone does not match the base, it does not match MAGA, it does not match most Republicans I know,” the congresswoman went on. “And I’m really denouncing it. I’m over it.”
