Shortly after an assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, House Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries tweeted out on X an attack on what he calls “Extreme MAGA Republicans.”

He wrote: “Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025. We must stop them.”

One person responded: “This kind of rhetoric caused another assassination attempt on President Trump.” STFU!
