Shipping company hits Mike Lindell with lawsuit over nearly $800K debt

Filed in Minneapolis on Monday, a lawsuit claims MyPillow’s Mike Lindell has failed to adhere to a previous debt-related settlement.

Lindell reportedly owes shipping and logistics company DHL $775,000, and in May 2023 it was ordered that he would pay the entirety of the debt back in 24 monthly payments. However, the lawsuit claims that the company only ever received $64,583.34 with the last installment coming in June.

After several months of threatening to sue Lindell for non-payment, the company finally filed the paperwork this week demanding he pay $799,925.59, attorney fees, and 18% annual interest.

This is not the first time the MyPillow founder has been the subject of a lawsuit. In February 2024, he was ordered to pay a man $5 million after losing his own “Prove Mike Wrong” challenge. As BizPac Review previously reported, Lindell offered the eye-popping sum to anyone who could disprove his claim to have data showing fraud in the 2020 presidential election. A 64-year-old Nevada man, who voted for Trump twice, was able to prove that the data Lindell reportedly had was unrelated to the election, and a judge ordered him the full reward plus interest.

In March 2024, MyPillow was evicted from a Minnesota warehouse, allegedly over unpaid rent. The lawsuit claims the company had not paid $217,489.74 in rent, accounting for four months in 2023, and February and March of 2024.

During his March 2023 recorded deposition in the Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit, Lindell exploded on “frivolous” lawyers and cases. The contentious deposition was released months after it took place, and was well-received by supporters who believed Lindell was just standing up for what he believed in.

“You need to do your best to respond only to my question,” the lawyer advised.

“Are you going to arrest me?” Lindell spit back. “I’ll say whatever I want, and if we have extra, that’s too bad. There’s no rule that says I can’t give a full answer. So, you know, I’m telling you the rules here.”

“Don’t tell me about my depositions,” he said. “You’re not my boss. You’re just some frivolous lawyer in here, and you’re bringing this frivolous case to me, and especially against a company that had nothing to do with anything. You’re disgusting.”
