According to an InsiderAdvantage poll conducted in the wake of Tuesday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, the former president is up on the Veep in battleground Michigan.

From InsiderAdvantage:

An InsiderAdvantage survey of 800 registered likely voters shows Donald Trump with a one point lead over Kamala Harris in Michigan. The survey was conducted September 11th through midday September 12th. The data collection was by cell/text and is weighted for age, race, gender, and political affiliation. The poll has a margin of error of 3.7%

Results:
Trump: 49%
Harris: 48%
Other: 1%
Undecided: 2%

Independents prefer Trump over Harris by five points, noted InsiderAdvantage pollster Matt Towery.

“It appears that the debate had little or no impact on the contest, particularly among independent voters, in this particular state,” Towery said, adding that separate polling InsiderAdvantage conducted with Trafalgar on debate night showed no change nationally among undecided voters.
