The FBI on Thursday reminded the public that it was still searching for a known former associate of terrorist Osama bin Laden, over the man’s alleged role in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

Hamza Al Ghamdi, who is connected to the terrorist organization al-Qaeda, served on bin Laden’s security detail prior to 9/11. He is not the same Hamza Al Ghamdi that crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the World Trade Center.

The State Department is offering a $5 million reward for Al Ghamdi’s location. He has also gone by Salih Saeed Albitaih Alghamdi, Hamza Salih Bin Sa’id Al-Ghamdi and Hamza Al Ghamidi.

“We have not forgotten,” Christie M. Curtis, Acting Assistant Director in charge of the FBI’s New York City Field Office, said in a news release,  per Fox News. “Twenty-three years later, the FBI is still seeking justice for the victims of the September 11th attacks by continuing to seek those who desire to harm us.”

The FBI said Al Ghamdi has been embedded in countries like Afghanistan and Tajikstan as part of al-Qaeda, and served in significant positions in the terrorist network.
