Pennsylvania Chase founder and grassroots strategist Cliff Maloney shared a major update on X (formerly Twitter) about the GOP’s substantial gains in mail-in ballot requests for the upcoming 2024 election.

In a post highlighting the latest figures, Maloney revealed that Republican mail-in requests have increased by 85% compared to two years ago, a shift he considers crucial for the party’s chances in Pennsylvania, a key swing state.

In his post, Maloney contrasted the 2022 and 2024 data. In 2022, Democrats had requested 635,714 mail-in ballots, while Republicans trailed far behind at 157,305. However, as of the current figures for 2024, Democrats have increased their mail-in requests to 753,631, while Republicans have surged to 290,173. This represents a growth of 132,868 requests for the GOP—an 84.47% increase—compared to a more modest 18.55% rise for Democrats.

“‼️THIS CANNOT BE REAL‼️” Maloney wrote, emphasizing the dramatic increase in Republican requests. He urged the GOP to continue adapting, saying, “ADAPT AND WIN!!!”

The data snapshot is being seen as a potential game-changer in Pennsylvania, a battleground state with 19 electoral votes. The substantial increase in GOP mail-in ballot requests is part of a broader strategy by Republican operatives to compete with Democrats in early and absentee voting, an area where they lagged significantly in 2020.

As the 2024 election approaches, Maloney and his team at The Pennsylvania Chase are focused on driving Republican voter turnout through mail-in ballots, viewing it as a critical element in securing victories up and down the ballot.
