CNN data analyst Harry Enten has warned Vice President Kamala Harris that her slim lead in the polls will be short-lived as he called out the major mistake her campaign is making going into the 2024 election.

Host John Berman asked Enten to “put some meat on the bones” regarding a recent New York Times/Sienna poll showing former president Donald Trump with a one-point lead, to which the polling expert noted her that the Vice President’s honeymoon has vanished.

Enten predicts the election will come down to Pennsylvania, where Trump leads.

“What we see is a tightening race,” Enten said as he broke down the numbers.

Last month, three nonpartisan polls showed Harris leading Trump by 3 to 4%.

However, those same polls today show that Trump and Harris are tied.

“This to me is part of an emerging pattern, which is in a very pivotal state – what we saw was a small Harris lead within the margin of error becoming a race that is way, way, way too close to call.”

Berman asked just how critical Pennsylvania would be in getting 270 electoral votes, to which Enten pointed out that political betting markets are eking out a win there.

“Let’s take Pennsylvania out of Kamala Harris’ column and put it in Donald Trump’s column. Again, with the betting favorites having Trump take Pennsylvania, what happens when we turn Pennsylvania red?” he said.

“Donald Trump wins in the Electoral College, 287 electoral votes to Kamala Harris’s 251 electoral votes,” a much larger win than for Harris if she takes the state.

“So that is why I say it’s pivotal,” he added.

Harris’s campaign has faced mounting pressure from the anti-Israel left to refrain from picking a Jewish running mate, Pennsylvania’s popular Democratic governor, Josh Shapiro. This decision may have been their fatal mistake when the race came down to one state.

“Folks like myself thought she should have taken Josh Shapiro,” Enten stated.

“If Kamala Harris loses in Pennsylvania, and that is the tipping state as Mr. Berman put it – the state that could put Donald Trump over the top in the Electoral College – there are going to be some real questions as to whether Kamala Harris should have chosen Josh Shapiro given how popular he is.”

But Haris ultimately chose progressive Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who has since suffered a mountain of controversies, including deserting his National Guard battalion in 2005 shortly before it deployed to Iraq and being accused of “stolen valor.”

Walz also falsely stated he and his wife relied on IVF to conceive, a claim which came in the wake of an Alabama court’s decision briefly outlawing the practice.
