Fox News host Jesse Watters discussed the grim reality for Democrats now that their nominee Kamala Harris isn’t going to get any help from a New York City lawfare judge.

The honeymoon for Harris may officially be over, failing to get a post-convention bounce in the sketchy polls and coming off of a disastrous CNN interview, now the vice president won’t be able to count on former President Donald J. Trump getting thrown into jail either.

On Friday, Judge Juan Merchan delayed Trump’s sentencing in the sham Stormy Daniels “hush money” case until late November, weeks after the election, bad news for Harris who is also looking like a loser in the Electoral College. Watters broke down the tough road ahead for Democrats on Friday’s edition of “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

“Major blow for the Harris campaign today, after the Manhattan judge in Trump’s hush money case delayed sentencing until after the election,” he said “Harris was hoping for Trump to hit that legal pothole in October, and now, legally, Trump has a clear road ahead. Reality is setting in, and the Obama world is telling Democrats not to get your hopes up.”

“They say it’s very possible that if the election were held today, Trump would win. That’s what we’ve been telling you. Democrat numbers guru Nate Silver says stop ignoring the elephant in the room, quote, ‘The Electoral College is starting to look like a challenge for Kamala,’” Watters continued.

Watters was referring to the polling wizard who isn’t optimistic that Harris is going to win on the only scoreboard that truly matters, a serious problem considering all of the chatter about how the Constitution needs to be overhauled in Democrat-controlled media over the past week.

“After a slew of what Silver calls mediocre polls for Harris, he’s forecasting Trump winning every single battleground by 1 to 4 points,” he said.

“Silver gives Trump a 62 percent chance of winning, and the Clintons are sharpening their knives,” he added, as he rolled a clip of former Clinton adviser Mark Penn throwing shade at Harris.

“Even Biden’s going to watch Tuesday’s debate with low expectations. His team thinks Kamala Harris’ public performances are uneven and often not reassuring. They worry she struggles under the glare of national pressure,” Watters added, citing an Axios story about lame duck President Joe Biden’s advisers having little confidence in Harris.

“They find her risk-averse to the point of paralysis. So if Kamala Harris chokes under pressure and freezes with indecision, shouldn’t they be warming her up with interviews instead of throwing her into the biggest debate of her life cold?” Watters asked.

The host explained to viewers that debate prep is going so poorly for Harris that Democrats are leaking and predicting that Trump could have a big night, showing a clip of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who was passed over for goofy “Tampon Tim” Walz because he’s Jewish, a deal-killer with the rabidly antisemitic base.

“People know Donald Trump,” Shapiro said during an appearance on ABC’s “The View” where he managed expectations for the ladies at the table. “He is a skilled debater. He is a guy who’s willing to say anything at any time just to get through a question and he’s a showman, he’s been on TV before. So don’t underestimate Donald Trump.”

“So what’s going on behind the scenes at debate camp, I wonder,” Watters said, again citing Axios. “Well, her Frankenstein campaign still isn’t sure where she stands on anything,” with the outlet quoting an unnamed insider who revealed how frustrating the job of debate prep is with Kamala.

“Because while they’re trying to train her on how to deliver a good punchy sound bite, ‘she actually wants a thorough understanding of every issue that could possibly come up.’ Basically Kamala’s still trying to learn what her policies are,” he said with a grin. “And her team’s like ah, Madame vice president, it’s a little too late for that, let’s not talk about the policies, that’s not gonna help. Here’s a few zingers, just memorize them. If you start debating policy, you’re gonna lose.”

It’s been a hellish week for “Kamalot” but that could pale in comparison to next week when she’s going to be exposed in front of a national television audience.
