This morning, the king of MMA just made a pitch to be considered as supreme executive for the Irish people. An Irishman for the Irish.

As President I hold the power to summon the Dáil as well as dissolve it. So as i said before, I would have all the answers the people of Ireland seek from these thieves of the working man, these disrupters of the family unit, these destructors of small businesses, and on and on and on! The Dáil is the lower level of parliament in Ireland. It’s a little bit like the US Congress. And, in Ireland, they serve at the pleasure of the president.

So McGregor is running on the platform of either forcing the Dáil to do what’s right for Ireland, or dissolving the Dáil completely.
