Trump could cure cancer and the media would find a way to hate him for it.

Controversy erupted after Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery on the third anniversary of the Biden-Harris Administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Neither Biden nor Harris were there to honor the 13 fallen service members. But somehow the media is going after Trump.

According to CNN:

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign stirred new controversy this week during a visit to Arlington National Cemetery that was intended to draw attention to the chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.

This would be a nonissue if any other former or current president visited the ceremony. But because this is about Trump the media has to turn nothing into something.

“The media just won’t let it go,” Crowder said.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump appeared to suggest the incident stemmed from his campaign’s use of photography, sharing a statement from the family members of the fallen soldiers expressing their approval.

The media is trying to claim that he was not supposed to be at the ceremony and that his aides assaulted staff. However, Gold Star families invited him to honor their late loved ones and a cemetery in Arlington made it political and tried to block him from entering.

The families then requested that Trump take a picture with him, which the media is also trying to turn into an issue.

“This is an example of people trying to put him in a no-win situation,” Crowder said. “He was invited, he accepted the invitation. You try to start a scuffle when he accepts the invite then try to claim you were assaulted, which didn’t happen.”

It’s pretty rich that the media is implying Trump is exploiting the families when they are the ones who asked for the picture.

“This is how they steal a nation from you. They get you to believe enough lies cumulatively that you no longer know what is true. Then they gaslight you and tell you about fake news on the right,” Crowder said.

Kamala’s campaign also tried to jump on this and politicize it.

According to CNBC:

A reported physical confrontation between former President Donald Trump’s campaign aides and an official at Arlington National Cemetery is “pretty sad” but “it’s not surprising coming from the Trump team,” says a spokesman for Vice President Kamala Harris‘ campaign.

“They create a story that we know is false,” Crowder said.
