Welp, this isn’t going to help the military’s recruiting woes.

US District Judge Leonie Brinkema has ruled that the US military cannot discriminate against HIV-positive people who want to join the military.

In her ruling, this crazy woman said the military’s ban on HIV-positive recruits “contributes “to the ongoing stigma surrounding HIV-positive individuals.”

For reference, here is a short list of medical conditions that CAN get you disqualified from military service:

But HIV? Yeah, that’s no problem!

The military is also facing such a massive recruitment crisis, that they’re considering a return to the draft. Since 2013, male enlistments have dropped 35%.

(Somehow, we don’t think this new ruling will lead to male recruits lining up outside begging to enlist.)

Let’s take a look at Bill Clinton-appointed US District Judge Leonie Brinkema (pictured below, no, we’re not kidding) who made this ruling.

In 2017, Brinkema shot down Trump’s freeze on immigration because it “discriminated against Muslims.”
This year, she overturned the life sentence of a Taliban terrorist who was recruiting and training terrorists in the US.
