Did you know that Paris has an anti-online hatred center? That’s news to me, as it appears the French are not allowed to “hate” politically correct things. Fortunately, in America we have rights and it’s perfectly legal to loathe ideas or people under the guise of “hate.” For now, this is not a crime. And not committing a crime in America has never been grounds for the French to go after Americans because of their insane speech laws. Nonetheless, Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling have been named in a lawsuit filed by Olympic boxer Imane Khelif, who is definitelyyyyyyy a woman, for “acts of aggravated cyber harassment.”

It’s quite comical how as of last week, the Europeans think they can come after Americans for things that are not illegal. Back in my day, you had to commit a crime in their country, and calling for fair rules in the Olympics was not something the legal system entertained.

According to NBC:

In a statement sent to Variety, the Paris Prosecutor’s Office (National Center for the Fight Against Online Hatred), confirmed it received the complaint filed by Khelif and announced that an investigation had been launched. “On Aug. 13, (The National Center for the Fight Against Online Hatred) contacted the OCLCH (Central Office for the Fight Against Crimes Against Humanity and Hate Crimes) to conduct an investigation into the counts of cyber harassment due to gender, public insult because of gender, public incitement to discrimination and public insult because of origin.”

Get out of here. Will they lump this in with “crimes against humanity?” The world has gone mad.

The lawsuit was filed against X, which under French law means that it was filed against unknown persons. That “ensure[s] that the ‘prosecution has all the latitude to be able to investigate against all people,” including those who may have written hateful messages under pseudonyms, said Boudi. The complaint nevertheless mentions famously controversial figures.

So they don’t even know who committed the “crime”? Just that things were said that they don’t like but they don’t know who said it but they want the French authorities to find out who said the thing that may or may not have been said? Additionally, this is not a crime but might be a crime in France.

Questions: Are Americans supposed to do anything but laugh at this?

Do the French think they can take away the rights of Americans? Even our government does not have that right. What’s next? Are they going to go after our gun laws?

France could not have made itself look more pathetic this Olympics if they tried.

Boudi said that although the complaint mentions names, “What we’re asking is that the prosecution investigates not only these people but whoever it feels necessary. If the case goes to court, they will stand trial.”

Wow. French lawyers must be so broad. How can they say something like that and not be embarrassed?

Boudi also claimed that while the lawsuit was filed in France, “it could target personalities overseas,” pointing out that “the prosecutor’s office for combating online hate speech has the possibility to make requests for mutual legal assistance with other countries.” He added that there were agreements with the U.S. equivalent of the French office for combating online hate speech.

So I just checked all the laws in the history of American laws and I am having trouble finding the part where it mandates Americans acquiesce to the insanity of the French.

No woman would file a lawsuit to demand that foreign nationals affirm their identity. And even if they did, the fact that he’s trying to do that against an American is pathetic, and we don’t take kindly to tyrannical demands not based in reality.

Is this the “aggravated harassment” Khelif is suing Rowling for?

Khelif couldn’t be more of a pathetic coward if “he/she???” tried.

Perfect tweet:

They won’t speak out because they want to intimidate people into silence. But fortunately, Americans have the right to remain silent or not, it’s up to discretion. Subsequently, Khelif is likely the most hated boxer in the world, and the fact that people feel sorry for “him/her???” is deranged.
