South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace had no patience for Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle’s stonewalling, lies, and manipulations during Monday’s House Oversight hearing on the intelligence failures surrounding the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life.

“Was this a colossal failure: yes or no?” Mace asked Cheatle.

“Yes,” Cheatle admitted.

“Was this tragedy preventable: yes or no?” Mace asked.

“Yes,” Cheatled said.

After highlighting that the committee needed to issue a subpoena to get Cheatle to appear, and getting the Director to concede that the Secret Service isn’t supposed to be political, Mace got aggressive.

“Would you say leaking your opening statement to Punchbowl News, Politico’s Playbook, and Washington Post several hours before you sent it to this committee as being political?” Mace asked.

“I have no idea how my statement got out,” Cheatle answered.

“Well, that’s bulls–t,” Mace fired back.

“Is the Secret Service fully cooperating with our committee?” Mace followed up.

“Yes,” Cheatle said.

“Okay .. on July 15th, this committee sent you a list of demands with what we wanted. Has the Secret Service provided this committee a complete list of all law enforcement personnel that were there that day?” Mace asked.

“I’ll have to get back to you on that,” Cheatle said.

“That is a no,” Mace said. “Have you provided all audio and video recodings in your position to this committee: yes or no?”

“I’ll have to get back to you on …” Cheatle began to say before Mace cut her off.

“You are full of s–t today.”
