Joe Biden’s aides are producing large print cheat sheets accompanied by step-by-step pictures instructing the President exactly how to navigate his way to the podium for speaking events.

Axios obtained an event template sent out by the White House to staffers which shows the bizarre manner in which they guide the President’s every movement at campaign events.

In one such document, which spans just five pages in total, two of those pages include separate images of the path Biden must take to get to the podium.

The leader of the free world needs a picture book to help him walk down a relatively small space and get from the backstage area to where he will be speaking.

It’s practically breathtaking if one really sits back and thinks about it.

Biden’s Latest Cheat Sheets

The scoop published by Axios was made possible by a staffer who had worked a fundraising event for President Biden’s re-election campaign.

“It surprised me that a seasoned political pro like the president would need detailed verbal and visual instructions on how to enter and exit a room,” they said, according to the outlet.

How it surprised this individual is anybody’s guess. President Biden’s aides have a long history of guiding him step-by-step at events.

Over two years ago, Biden accidentally revealed a cheat sheet he was using at the time during a meeting with wind industry leaders.

The President had accidentally held up a card prepared by his staff to walk him through the event.

Some of the instructions were comedy gold:

  • “YOU take YOUR seat.”
  • “YOU give brief comments (2 minutes).”
  • “YOU thank participants.”
  • “YOU depart.”

At another event roughly one year later, a video emerged of an individual seemingly guiding President Biden through the motions at a stop in North Carolina.

Just Standard Operating Procedure?

White House officials who responded to the Axios report tried to dismiss the giant picture book provided to the President as little more than standard procedure.

“High levels of detail and precision are critical to presidential advance work — regardless of who is president — and these are basic approaches that are used by any modern advance team, including the vice president’s office and agencies,” White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said.

A spokesperson for Vice President Kamala Harris added, “These documents are standard logistical briefing materials and photos for any principal, including the vice president.”

Of course, the Veep also has an obsession with pictures, specifically Venn diagrams.
