Morgan Wallen is going from dropping chairs off building rooftops to dropping one of his more highly anticipated songs as the country superstar looks to continue his dominance in the music world.

The studio version of Wallen’s “Lies, Lies, Lies” track was officially released earlier today on streaming platforms and to radio stations across the country. Those that saw the hit country star perform in concert in recent months were able to hear him perform it live after originally recording it as part of a live Abbey Roads studio session earlier this year. However, now, fans everywhere can listen to the song at their convenience that shows a more vulnerable side of Wallen in which he talks about a relationship built on lies.

THE SUMMER OF MORGAN WALLEN CONTINUES

Upon first listen, fans will immediately get a sense of a darker type of country song for the 31-year-old who has had his share of controversies that have included canceled tours, a racial slur, and most recently the infamous drunken chair toss from a six-story bar that almost hit two police officers on the Nashville street below. Could it be that the singer-songwriter is self-reflecting when he sings about someone not being able to quit old habits?

Lies, lies, lies
Girl, I’m on a downhill dive
Habits and hard heartbreaks are hard to break
So I just tell the same old lies, lies, lies’

The song’s somber tone eventually builds up into a catchy, chorus ballad that many diehard Wallen fans have been eagerly anticipating. In just a few hours the song has already started to chart on Billboard and you can be sure to hear it on country radio this weekend as well.

MORGAN WALLEN CONTINUES TO DOMINATE

“Lies, Lies, Lies” is just the latest in a new string of recent songs that Morgan Wallen has released this year.

His most recent single featuring Post Malone is called “I Had Some Help,” may very well be the song of the summer as it has been played NONSTOP across the country and has been the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for six straight weeks.
