Philadelphia radio personality Howard Eskin has been banned from an increasing number of sporting events because of accusations of inappropriate behavior by Eskin.

An investigation was launched against Eskin after the 72-year-old radio veteran was accused of giving an “unwanted kiss” to a food service worker at Citizens Bank Park in May. 

The Phillies released a statement, signing off on Audacy’s decision to ban Erskin.

“We cooperated with our partners at Audacy and Aramark on their investigations,” the Phillies announced. “We support Audacy’s decision to suspend Howard Eskin from Citizens Bank Park.”

The Philly media icon is now barred from attending Phillies games for the remainder of the season and banned from attending the Philadelphia 76ers’ training facility. 

Audacy, the parent company of SportsRadio 94WIP, decided to keep Erskin away from Phillies games based on the findings of its investigation. Erskin is a pioneer in the network, having launched the first radio show in 1986 for SportsRadio 94 WIP. Despite the team bans, Erskin remains on the radio. 

Aramark, the company that employs food service workers at Citizens Bank Park, also released a statement iterating their priority on workers’ safety.

Aramark’s statement read, “We then worked with Audacy and the Phillies to ensure that appropriate steps were taken to protect our employee and all of the Aramark employees at Citizens Bank Park.”
