After President Joe Biden’s bogus claim about no service members dying under his watch, one “disgusted” but “not shocked” Gold Star mother expressed why she hoped he remained in the race.

The president may be quick to bring up the 2015 death of his son Beau Biden, even when the reference would be considered wildly inappropriate, but his 81-year-old memory was not so quick to recall the deaths of those under his command over the last three years.

During Thursday’s presidential debate, Biden’s effort to diminish former President Donald Trump’s record of support for America’s men and women in uniform included the readily debunked claim to be the “only president this century, this decade, that doesn’t have any troops dying anywhere in the world.”

Monday, Kelly Barnett, the mother of Staff Sgt. Darin Taylor Hoover, one of 13 service members killed at the Abbey Gate outside the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan during the botched withdrawal in 2021, joined “America Reports” where she spoke with Fox News host Sandra Smith.

“I was not shocked,” she explained. “I was angry. I believe in my soul [that] President Biden is gone. He can’t remember what he had for breakfast. I do believe that he was told to say that. They want him out. I believe that it was set up and… however far gone… and if you wanna feel sorry for him, it’s still disgusting.”

On Aug. 26, 2021, an extremist detonated a bomb outside the airport taking the lives of 31-year-old Hoover, Sgt. Johanny Rosairo Pichardo, 25; Sgt. Nicole L. Gee, 23; Cpl. Hunter Lopez, 22; Cpl. Daegan W. Page, 23; Cpl. Humberto A. Sanchez, 22; Lance Cpl. David L. Espinoza, 20; Lance Cpl. Jared M. Schmitz, 20; Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum, 20; Lance Cpl. Dylan R. Merola, 20;  Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20; Navy Corpsman Maxton W. Soviak, 22, and Staff Sgt. Ryan C. Knauss, 23, along with nearly 200 Afghan civilians.

Days after the tragedy, Biden infamously was spotted checking his watch during the dignified transfer as though he had somewhere more important to be than honoring the fallen.

“I witnessed him check his watch three times,” explained Barnett. “I finally told my daughter because she was getting so upset, ‘Don’t look at him anymore. Stop looking at him.’ She was getting more and more frustrated. And so finally…the last service member came out, and they drove away and Biden was just standing out there, and she did scream at him.”

“She couldn’t hold it in anymore. She meant every word that she said to him, and it just goes to show you the frustration. There’s no words to explain how much disrespect we have gotten, how disrespected we feel,” the mother went on. “And I think this was the only thing that she could do to make herself feel better, was to lash out at him.”

“The whole Biden administration knows what they did wrong and what they continue to do to our families. Again, disgusting,” she added, detailing that, outside of a formal letter from the White House months later, they had not been contacted by Biden.

“We haven’t heard a word. Seven of the families, we’ve started a coalition, and we have begged. We have sent letters and emails, please talk to us. We want to talk to you. It’s been refused, no word whatsoever,” said Barnett.

By contrast, the Gold Star mother recounted how Trump had reached out to her family after Hoover’s death and spoke with each of them before later inviting them to Mar-a-Lago and his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club.

“He cares about my son, he cares about our military,” contended Barnett who expressed her hope that Biden remained the candidate for the sake of accountability. “He needs to stay in…I don’t think they’re gonna let him in some way, shape or form, but he needs to stay in, he needs to answer — the whole Biden administration needs to answer for what they’ve done. And I just hope that they continue and let him stay in and just let Trump slide right through.”

Her frustration was not alone in the wake of the debate as video of a Gold Star wife also began circulating where she explained, “I’m not angry about his statement, I’ve been angry for a long f*cking time, and I’ve been knowing that he does not give a f*ck,” after Biden not bothering to show up for the dignified transfer of her dead husband when she had to travel 12 hours with her 16-month-old child.

Worth noting, in January, U.S. Army reservists Sgt. William Rivers, 46; Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24; and Spc. Brianna Moffatt, 23 were killed in a drone strike in Jordan and it had remained in doubt whether or not he would fulfill his solemn duties for them.
