Give it up for Zach Wilson, infamous Jets quarterback turned new Broncos QB, after his newly announced engagement to Nicolette Dellanno! It may be Wilson’s first big win in quite some time, but it’s a win nonetheless. He’s an NFL quarterback, and she’s a former competitive dancer turned influence: a match made in heaven.

And by the looks of his proposal in Italy, Wilson put on a dazzling performance to get Dellanno to agree to a long-term deal with him. Wilson and Dellanno have been dating since the summer of 2022.

Wilson proposed to the TikTok influencer off the Amalfi Coast, on their Italian getaway and amid a break from NFL activities for the quarterback.

Wilson shared the news on his social media, “To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you. You’re not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything. I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic❤️I love you.”

Dellanno shared Wilson’s photo with her own caption Sunday.

The caption read:

“Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Everyday I admire your strength and i’m so incredibly proud of you. I’m so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together [silver heart emoji] iIlove [sic] you.”

(Check out that rock!)

The news adds to Wilson’s eventful offseason, which includes moving on from the team, the NY Jets, who once promised Wilson a long-term future, drafting him second overall in 2021. In April, New York traded Wilson and a seventh-round pick to the Broncos, receiving a sixth-rounder in exchange. Wilson finished with a 13-21 record as the Jets starter; on occasion, Wilson flashed a franchise-level highlight, just not enough.

Wilson might’ve blown his shot with the Jets. He seems to have a brighter future ahead with Dellanno.

Former Jets teammate and wideout Braxton Berrios relayed his congratulations to the happy couple.

“So happy for y’all,” Berrios commented.

Wilson will duke it out for the top QB spot in Denver. Jarrett Stidham is slotted as Denver’s QB1, with first-round rookie Bo Nix slotted at second and Wilson at third.
