Daytime TV’s token Republican offered a telling take on feeling “duped” after the presidential debate that screamed Trump Derangement Syndrome.

While talking heads on corporate media and editorial boards like those at The New York Times got in line with the new narrative that it was time for President Joe Biden to bow out, the ladies of “The View” appeared torn on how best to sway the shrill demographic that supports their program.

Between Joy Behar’s attempt to compare the doddering Democrat to President Ronald Reagan ahead of his 1984 landslide re-election and Ana Navarro’s argument that the incumbent was “overprepared,” Alyssa Farah Griffin opted for propaganda victimhood.

Conceding that Biden’s performance went beyond merely a bad debate, the former White House director of strategic communications during President Donald Trump’s administration asserted, “This is historically bad, and I think we need to be awake to the stakes of it because the time is really critical.”

As Behar interjected with a reminder that Reagan was ultimately diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, the co-host contended whatever affliction was causing the president’s decline should be made public, “By the way, this White House should tell us. I feel duped. I feel like I’ve been told this guy’s doing gymnastics.”

“I was genuinely in shock last night watching this. Even though I had concerns for a couple of years about Biden’s age, it was stunningly worse than I expected,” she went on to add.

Evidently, Griffin was a prime example of who White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was trying to convince when claiming that videos of Biden reaching out to shake hands with people who weren’t there, repeatedly falling and getting led about like a child by his wife, former President Barack Obama and even other world leaders, were nothing more than “cheapfakes.”

The debate disaster that somehow surprised the co-hosts of “The View” had come after the shift in reporting on Biden’s mental faculties had included a report regarding his behavior behind closed doors wherein former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) had recounted, “I used to meet with him when he was vice president. I’d go to his house. He’s not the same person.”

Little sympathy was shared on social media for Griffin after her supposed eye-opening experience watching Biden’s deer-in-the-headlights expression through half the night. One user in particular ripped into the Never Trumper at length on X and wrote, “No sh*t you dumba**! That’s what you get for believing ANYTHING from this retarded administration!”

“Do you not have enough intellect to see with your own two eyes that Biden is inept and displaying reduced cognitive and physical abilities? (i.e. tripping and falling up stairs, babbling incoherent nonsense, lying emphatically, shaking hands with invisible people, talking to people who aren’t there, aimlessly [wandering] off, etc.),” he continued. “Besides that, he’s a traitor and has been exploiting the United States for decades! I realized how incapable of intelligent thought you are when you began opposing @realDonaldTrump but damn, are you also f*cking blind?”
