A nasty-sounding Democrat lawmaker from Ohio got into it with a stranger Friday who’d dared to ask her a tough question about President Joe Biden.

Video footage recorded by the man shows him peppering Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur with questions about President Biden as the two walked through the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.

Watch the footage below via Fox News:

“Excuse me, congresswoman, should Joe Biden step down?” the man asks Kaptur at the beginning of the clip above.

The congresswoman, 78, ignores him and continues ahead through an escalator, prompting the man to repeat his question.

The man then proceeds to ask another question: “Why has the White House been lying about Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities?”

It’s at this point that Kaptur gets nasty.

As seen in the clip, she briefly stares into the man’s camera before reaching for it. The video then cuts out. When the footage returns a second later, the man can be heard demanding an explanation.

“Congresswoman why did you take my phone like that?” the man asks.

Clearly annoyed by the flood of questions, Kaptur then starts asking the man personal questions.

“Who are you? Who are you? Where are you from? Where are you from? What is your name? What is your name? Where do you live?” she asks, repeating herself several times.

“Why are you asking me all these personal questions, congresswoman?” the man replies.

“Because you’re asking me questions,” Kaptur says.

“I’m allowed to ask you questions,” the man replies.

In fairness, she was allowed to ask him questions, too …

As the confrontation continues, Kaptur asks more personal questions, leading to the man angrily stating that he doesn’t “have to tell you that information.”

“Then I’m not answering you,” the congresswoman replies before trying to walk away.

“I just want to know, congresswoman, should Joe Biden step down?” the man then asks.

This time Kaptur finally answers, to her credit, saying, “No!”

Evidently unsatisfied with the answer, the man keeps pressing.

“Why has the White House been lying about Joe Biden’s declining cognitive abilities?” he says next.

This triggers another rebuff from the congresswoman, who angrily hollers, “Why are you reading the questions off that sheet!? Who owns you!?”

“Nobody owns me,” the unnamed man replies. “I’m just curious on some questions.”

In a statement to Fox News, Kaptur campaign spokesperson Alexandra Wilcox later slammed the anonymous man.

“It’s one thing to ask a question but an unknown man refusing to identify himself, forcing a camera in the Congresswoman’s personal space is another thing entirely,” she said. “The man has still not identified himself or the organization for which he works.”

“All these politics aside, Congresswoman Kaptur remains fully focused on delivering further transformational federal investment to Northwest Ohio,” she added.

Responding to what happened, critics blasted Kaptur over her lousy attitude and also lousy leadership at home.

Look:

In separate news, Kaptur recently faced backlash for comparing deceased terrorist Osama bin Laden to America’s Founding Fathers. She made the remarks in 2003, just as the United States was preparing to invade Iraq.

“If you think back to our founding as a country, we are a country of revolution,” she reportedly said. “One could say that Osama bin Laden and these non-nation-state fighters with religious purpose are very similar to those kind of atypical revolutionaries that helped to cast off the British crown.”

Kaptur also made headlines when one of her aides recently bragged on social media about having his student debt canceled by President Biden.
