We’ve all seen a sign on the door of a business before during what are normal business hours informing customers that the business is currently closed.  It’s unavoidable sometimes.  A normal part of life.

Whoever was on duty at the time might have had to run an errand, they could have taken a much-needed break or had to attend to an emergency.  A customer of an unnamed convenience store ran into a couple of signs that most have never seen on the door of a business before.

Not that the reason given for locking the doors is the only time a business has been temporarily shutdown for this reason, but most of the time the person writing the sign is a little more discreet.

The person on duty when these signs were put up is evidently unfamiliar with the concept.

The signs were posted on Reddit presumably by a customer, along with the caption, “I seemed to have lost my appetite for a good ol’ fashion ballpark wiener.”  The signs read, “Closed for sex.  Be back in 30 mins.  Thank you.”

Locking The Doors For A Booty Call Is One Thing, Putting Up Signs Letting Everyone Know Is Incredible

It’s a move that even someone hungry for a ballpark wiener can respect.  The Reddit user who shared the signs didn’t complain, they simply shared the picture and let comments do the rest of the work.

There was no need to try to get the booty call answerer into any trouble.  The comment section didn’t disappoint.

One such commenter said, “‘back in 30mins’ That’s a bit optimistic. Must be a 10min drive home.”

Another took note of the inside of the convenience store and the perfect placement of another sign, “That ‘wet floor’ sign tho.”

A third said, “Weird flex but I respect it.”  While another offered up a suggestion to add more humor to the situation, “It’d be great if it said back in 5.”

The only way that this could be any better is if the customers who ran into the signs then returned after 30 minutes and started high-fiving the clerk who locked up the shop for a booty call.
