President Biden’s disastrous performance during his debate with former President Trump was not the only drama at CNN Thursday night.

According to Hot Air, CNN banned the White House pool reporters from the debate room, stripping Biden of his propagandists amid the debate. The National Association of Black Journalists was snubbed as well.

“The White House Correspondents’ Association said CNN rejected multiple requests. The rules are that there would not be a live audience, which was weird enough, but CNN took it further by banning reporters. The reporting said that both Trump and Biden were ok with the press pool being included. This was a CNN decision,” Hot Air noted.

“WHCA is deeply concerned that CNN has rejected our repeated requests to include the White House travel pool inside the studio,” Kelly O’Donnell, who is the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, said in a statement. “The pool is there for the ‘what ifs?’ in a world where the unexpected does happen and to provide context and insight by direct observation and not through the lens of the television production.”

“These reporters are there to see what is said and done when the microphones and cameras are off, and provide independent observation,” she claimed.

“CNN said that one White House print pool reporter would be allowed to enter the studio during the two commercial breaks to ‘briefly observe the setting,’” Hot Air wrote noting that CNN said there was to be no audience/press in the debate room this time around.

Not only were White House reporters frozen out of the debate room, Biden’s surrogates apparently fled the scene as well or just didn’t show up in the first place.

Dozens of reporters were in total disarray as surrogates for the president were nowhere to be found and the Trump team stepped into the breach.

A few Biden lackeys eventually showed up adding to the chaos.

“When Biden’s surrogates — which included California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), and Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) — finally arrived, they were completely swarmed by the press,” Breitbart reported.

Nothing like blood in the political water to stir the press into a frenzy.

“Newsom balked at a reporter who asked if he would ‘urge the president to reconsider’ running for re-election after his gaffe-filled debate,” the media outlet added.

“Absolutely not, I have his back 100 percent… I would never turn my back,” Newsom lamely proclaimed.

Warnock chirped that Biden has passed “historic” legislation as if that had anything to do with the spectacle playing out on stage.

All of that came across as very weak tea after an equal parts stunning, depressing, laughable, and pathetic performance by Biden.
