Joe Biden and his supporters have been unable to convince the public that inflation isn’t a serious problem so they’re now resorting to gaslighting voters that former President Donald J. Trump would make it worse if elected.

In more pre-debate trickery from Democrats and their allies, a letter from sixteen top economists was released just in time for the big CNN matchup between Trump and Biden, who along with the two partisan moderators will almost certainly cite their claims during the nationally televised event.

“Many Americans are concerned about inflation, which has come down remarkably fast. There is rightly a worry that Donald Trump will reignite this inflation, with his fiscally irresponsible budgets,” reads the letter that claims Trump would set off an “inflation bomb” which is the latest cute propaganda slogan cooked up to be dispensed by Team Biden and their toadies in the media.

“While each of us has different views on the particulars of various economic policies, we all agree that Joe Biden’s economic agenda is vastly superior to Donald Trump,” they wrote.

But there are some very pertinent details about those so-called “experts” that are not getting much play in the media, except for Fox News which revealed the partisan relationship between the Nobel Prize winners and the Democrats, with one of them being married to a top Biden official.

The letter which was first reported by the regime-friendly outlet Axios was headed up by Columbia University’s Joseph Stiglitz, a man who Fox reports, “previously signed a letter supporting Biden’s Build Back Better agenda and donated $1,250 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020.”

Stiglitz has also donated over $90,000 to Democrats between 2004 and 2020, according to Fox which cites FEC records.

Another signatory, Professor George A. Akerlof of Georgetown University is the husband of Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, a political hack appointed by Biden who has downplayed the “sticker shock” felt by Americans at the grocery store to protect her boss.

Akerlof “donated $25,000 to the Biden Victory Fund and maxed out as a donor in 2020, giving the campaign $5,600,” Fox News reported. He also has a history of donating to Democrats who he gave almost $90,000 to between the 1990s and 2022 and also signed a 2020 letter denouncing Trump’s efforts to win a second term as “selfish and reckless.”

Claudia Goldin of Harvard University gave money to the Biden campaign in 2020 and 2024 and has given over $8,000 to Democrats. She also endorsed Biden in a 2020 letter. Other signers of the letter also have a history of donating to Democrats.

So they are hardly the unbiased “experts” they are being portrayed as but rather politically biased Biden supporters.

“The American people don’t need worthless out-of-touch Nobel prize winners to tell them which president put more money in their pockets,” Trump campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “Americans know we cannot afford four more years of Bidenomics, and when President Trump is back in the White House, he will reimplement his pro-growth, pro-energy, pro-jobs agenda to bring down the cost of living and uplift all Americans.”

The letter seems a lot like the 51 intel officials who in a 2020 letter claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, a blatant lie that was parroted by the media just like Trump’s alleged “inflation bomb” will be.
