Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt took to CNN Monday morning to discuss the upcoming presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. But when Leavitt rightly pointed out that the CNN moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash had a history of bias against her candidate, host Kasie Hunt considered this unprofessional and beyond the pale.

CNN host Kasie Hunt abruptly ended an interview with Donald Trump press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday morning after she repeatedly bashed her colleague Jake Tapper.

With three days to go until the first presidential debate, Hunt asked Leavitt how the Republican was preparing for his showdown with President Joe Biden.

Leavitt accused Biden of ‘hiding away’ while Trump was preparing to ‘go into a hostile environment on this very network with debate moderators who have made their opinions about him very well known over the past eight years.’

She said Tapper and Dana Bash are ‘biased’, prompting Hunt to jump in and insist they were ‘professional’.

Conservative and right-leaning outlets were quick to come to Leavitt’s defense, bringing the video receipts of the “professionalism” of Hunt’s colleagues Dana Bash and Jake Tapper.

These few clips also reflect Tapper’s “professionalism.” Like this one in 2020, after the media anointed Joe Biden as president. Tapper pontificated that the end of the Trump presidency signifies our “long national nightmare is over.”

Then, after CNN hosted a 2023 Trump Town Hall, Tapper offered this “Professional” take.

In this 2019 rant, Tapper is upset that Trump went after sacred cow Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

So, yes, Kasie Hunt, these are but a few examples of the unbiased “professionalism” exhibited by your colleague Jake Tapper.

Ms. Kasie did not appreciate being called on the carpet for what was essentially a blatant shutdown of Leavitt’s speech. So, she posted this veiled vitriol on X.

“As the track record clearly shows?” Shows what, exactly? That CNN is loaded with partisan hacks who let Democrats rattle off whatever garbage they want, while Republicans and conservatives are challenged, shut down, and called names? Like the strong spokesperson she is, Leavitt countered Hunt’s published fiction.

You cut off my microphone for bringing up the debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies. This proved our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly on Thursday. Yet he is still willing to go into this 3-1 fight to bring his winning message to the American people, and he will win.

A cognitively challenged president with two clearly biased moderators who have a history of attacking Trump and carrying Biden’s water. What more could go wrong? The biological waste matter has already hit the circular wind conductor. Thursday’s debate will only show how much more they plan to shovel.
