Snopes FINALLY debunked the 2017 "Very Fine People" hoax, and HOO

Remember when the corporate media tried to convince us for years that Donald Trump called neo-Nazis and white supremacists “very fine people” after that Charlottesville incident?

Well, first of all, while he did use those exact words, he didn’t use them to describe neo-Nazis and white surpemacists. We all kinda knew that already, but like everything with Trump, liberals took his actual words out of context and tried to make it the worst thing in the world in order to destroy Trump’s character.

Here was the claim made by the liberal media.

On Aug. 15, 2017, then-President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis and white supremacists who attended the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, ‘very fine people.’

You heard this on the news over and over again. The clip was out of context, but the media ran with it as they’re known to do, especially with Trump. It ended up being the reason that Joe Biden ran for president.

This all happened during a time period when we were tearing down confederate statues, this one being Robert E. Lee, located in Lee Park in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Here’s what happened, and why that out-of-context “very fine people” line was so important.

On Aug. 11 and 12, 2017, the so-called Unite the Right rally protesting the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from a park turned violent when neo-Nazis, white supremacists and others linked to far-right groups clashed with leftist counterprotesters. One self-identified white supremacist rammed his car into a crowd of people, killing one and injuring at least 19.

So this was a deadly occurrence, making it all the more tempting for the liberal media to take Trump out of context and destroy his character.

Fact of the matter here is that there were neo-Nazis and white supremacists there. There were also your far-Left types who are known for their own violent rage. All that aside, there were, in fact, everyday normal people in that crowd like you and me, arguing on both sides of the issue: Take the statue down or leave it be.

So that’s why Trump said the things he said in this press conference which I’ll leave IN CONTEXT for you.

And because it’s seven years after the fact and they’ve already destroyed Trump’s character, the left-wing fact checkers at Snopes have finally come out and admitted this was a hoax.
