A Biden administration Department of the Interior staffer who sparked controversy over his extreme left social media activity has scored a promotion.

Tyler Cherry, who has likened police to “slave patrols” while calling for ICE to be abolished and promoting conspiracy theories related to the Russiagate hoax, is moving on up, and into the White House where he will be a player on the regime’s communications team.

“After more than three years at Interior working for Secretary Deb Haaland, Cherry started last week as an associate communications director at the White House,” Politico reported.

Cherry is just the latest openly homosexual leftist to be given a prime position in an administration that is committed to “woke” DEI hiring regardless of an individual’s racist, anti-cop, and anti-Israel sentiments.

“Police = slave patrols. Voter ID =poll taxes. #NAACPBombing = KKK bombings. Neither slavery nor Jim Crow WERE THAT LONG AGO. We just evolved,” Cherry wrote in January 2015 in a post that is still active on his X account.

A few months later, in response to race riots in Baltimore after a black man named Freddie Gray died from injuries sustained in a police vehicle, the newly promoted staffer wrote, “Praying for #Baltimore, but praying even harder for an end to a capitalistic police state motivated by explicit and implicit racial biases.”

More posts from Cherry, who seems to share views compatible with those of militant left-wing activists.

He’s also got the bases covered when it comes to perhaps the top qualification for the current White House.

Cherry also expressed support for Palestine aka Hamas, in a July 2014 post on then-Twitter.

“Cheersing in bars to ending the occupation of Palestine — no shame and f— your glares #ISupportGaza #FreePalestine,” he said, according to Fox News.

“Cherry takes over as the top White House climate communications aide in a critical time for President Joe Biden’s administration,” according to the outlet. “The Biden team is sprinting to roll out big-ticket environmental and climate priorities this year as the November presidential election looms and the administration aims to shore up its policies.”

“The White House gig involves handling communications for the White House Climate Policy Office, traveling with national climate adviser Ali Zaidi and coordinating with the White House press office on climate and energy policy announcements,” Politico reported.
