More than eight months after the barbaric attack on Israeli citizens by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, where untold atrocities were the order of the day, U.S. Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) has finally apologized for claiming a few weeks later that the stories of rape and other brutal violence were “propaganda” and “lies.”

“There was propaganda used in the beginning of the siege,” Bowman said at a November 2023 rally in New York City. “There’s still no evidence of beheaded babies or raped women. But they still keep using that lie [for] propaganda.”

His remarks came after the Israeli government played a 43-minute video of the atrocities, Asked about his claim by a caller on a local radio show this week, Bowmann reportedly said, “Immediately when the UN provided additional evidence, I voted to condemn the sexual violence. I apologize for my comments and now we’re continuing to do the work to fight sexual violence and domestic violence in all its forms.”

Bowman, a member of the so-called hard-left Democratic “Squad,” who are in unison when it comes to antisemitic, anti-Israel behavior, just happens to be trailing his primary opponent, George Latimer, as voters are set to go to the polls on Tuesday.

He is also the target of a campaign to expose his efforts to run interference for Hamas — that lost him the support of the pro-Jewish lobbying group J Street and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is running the ad seen below in Bowman’s district, which has a large Jewish population.

The lawmaker did “condemn” the use of sexual violence by Hamas in a statement in March, after declining to talk about his inflammatory remarks.

“I’m focused on my votes and other things. I’m not talking,” he told a Politico reporter outside the House floor. When pressed on whether he stands by his words, Bowman added: “I’m not talking about that now. My team will get back to you.”

Late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert did Bowman a solid this week by having him on as a guest on The Late Show, where the progressive politician was critical of Hamas while condemning Israel for the “collective punishment” of the Palestinian people.

Bowman’s arrogance was on full display during the interview, as seen when he told Colbert his wife was “p*ssed off” that a Democrat would dare challenge him in a primary while playing the role of a “bullied” victim.

“And so they’re involved now, and they’re having a good time with it because they don’t want to see their husband and dad get bullied, so we’re pushing back a little bit,” Bowman said of his family.

Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez (D-NY), a fellow Squad member, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), fellow socialists, are also turning out for Bowman at a rally in the Bronx this Saturday.
