The already troubled relationship between the White House and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took another downward turn on Tuesday.

Democrats have grown increasingly frustrated about Netanyahu over the dragging on of the military operation against Hamas terrorists in Gaza, a conflict that has infuriated the party’s anti-Semitic base who could punish Joe Biden at the ballot box in Michigan.

A video posted by the Israeli leader to social media in which he accused the administration of withholding weapons needed to finish the job has drawn a typically petty reaction with it being reported that a “high-level” meeting to discuss Iran has been called off.

According to a report from Axios, a furious Biden administration “canceled a high-level U.S.-Israel meeting on Iran that was scheduled for Thursday,” citing two anonymous U.S. officials.

“This decision makes it clear that there are consequences for pulling such stunts,” Axios quotes one unnamed U.S. official.

According to the report, Biden officials were so “enraged” by the video that U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein was dispatched to “personally” deliver a message to Netanyahu hours after the video was published, then deciding “to go a step farther by canceling Thursday’s meeting.”

“The Americans are fuming. Bibi’s video made a lot of damage,” Axios quoted an unnamed senior Israeli official.

In the short video in which he spoke in English, the Israeli leader said that it’s “inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel.”

“We genuinely do not know what he’s talking about. We just don’t,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre said when asked about the video at Tuesday’s daily press briefing.

Also reacting to Netanyahu’s video were the two ideological thought leaders of the modern Democratic Party, the noisy anti-Israel socialist tail that wags the dog.

“This man should not be addressing Congress. He is a war criminal. And he certainly has no regard for US law, which is explicitly designed to prevent US weapons from facilitating human rights abuses,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) wrote on X, demanding that Congress yank its invite for Netanyahu’s planned address. “His invitation should be revoked. It should’ve never been sent in the 1st place.”

“Today, Netanyahu put out a video attacking the U.S. for not sending him bombs fast enough,” said Sen. Bernie Sanders, a wild-eyed Vermont Democrat who foists himself off as an Independent. “Let’s be clear: His right wing, extremist government has killed 37,000 Palestinians. The U.S. should withhold all offensive military aid to Israel and demand an end to this war.”

As is evident, diplomacy is not a priority of the Democratic Party, especially when it comes to the Jewish state.
