If trans people have rights, do de-trans people also have rights? Because in Arizona, they don’t.

Katie Hobbs just vetoed a bill that would have required that health care providers offer medical care to those who wish to de-transition. But Democrats are only interested in getting people to undergo medically unnecessary procedures, not fix it. They don’t care if vulnerable people later regret their sex change surgeries, as Hobbs has announced that’s a personal problem, at best.

According to Tucson.com:

The legislation on gender detransitioning was brought by Sen. Janae Shamp. The Surprise Republican said there are individuals who, after having someone perform gender reassignment surgery, change their minds only to find the health-care providers won’t reverse the procedures.

Shamp said she had no idea how many would be affected but quoted a 2022 study saying there are 53,000 adults from Arizona who are on a web discussion page for transgender adults and another 7,000 ages 13 through 17.

Even if this is not “necessary” at the moment, the current demand will only increase because this is the first time in history that people have been pushing sex change surgeries on kids. And Democrats have no problem requiring these for minors, but only have a problem if they want to try and reverse some of the damage done. To say that is deranged would be an understatement.

Hobbs vetoed the measure, saying it is unnecessary “and would create a privacy risk for patients.”

What does she mean it would pose a privacy risk? That does not even make any sense. Can she at least try and come up with a better lie? Because she basically just said, “I don’t care.”

“If doctors are going to block the natural puberty process of children and surgically alter the genitalia of people struggling with gender dysphoria, they must be prepared to undo the damage — as much as possible,” she said in a written statement.

These people have the nerve to mandate “affirming” care but won’t hesitate to throw people under the bus because they are that beholden to their woke orthodox. The left believes it’s inclusive and moral to offer medical care to allow someone to transition, but “unnecessary” to help out people who wish to undo the damage their ideology promotes.

The gender industry profits off of vulnerable people making life-changing decisions. But if they were so confident that that is the medically necessary thing to do, then there should be no issue with offering the option to reverse this.

It’s unclear how many kids will regret their gender transition but unfortunately, as of writing this, there is not much support for them in Arizona and that is reprehensible.
