There’s a swirling cauldron of accusations and recriminations in Broward County, Florida, right now over what’s a pretty clear-cut case of breaking the law.

This all started back in November when a Broward school board member got a tip that one of the teens playing on the girls volleyball team at Monarch High School was actually a guy. The mother, Jessica Norton, also happens to be an employee of the Broward school system and a JV volleyball coach. She allowed her trans teen to play for the volleyball team, knowing what the investigation would quickly reveal, and what the state law was quite clear about.

…Jessica Norton said her daughter was thriving at Monarch High School in suburban Fort Lauderdale before an anonymous tipster notified a Broward County school board member in November that the 16-year-old was playing on the girls varsity volleyball team in apparent violation of state law. The 2021 Fairness in Women’s Sports Act bars students who were born male from participating in girls sports.

Her ‘daughter’ is a biological male.

Well, that seems pretty cut and dry.

The school was fined – the first one in the state to have been so – and school officials were reassigned. Students threw a hissy fit, as they are wont to do.

Florida officials leveled sanctions — including a fine — on a Broward County high school Tuesday for allowing a transgender female student who was born as a biological male to play on the girls’ volleyball team.

Carried out by the Florida High School Athletic Association, the move is a substantial one for the state, marking what appears the be the first time a school has been penalized over the 2021 “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act” touted by Gov. Ron DeSantis that bans transgender women and girls from competing in women’s and girls’ sports.

The punishments come after Monarch High School in Coconut Creek was rocked by an athletics investigation over a transgender athlete that spurred student protests in solidarity and led to reassignments for local campus leaders, including the principal.

So, it’s, of course, Ron DeSantis and the legislature’s fault that Mrs. Norton is now facing the loss of her job for breaking the law, and the crocodile tears are coming out big time. Their first attempt at a lawsuit was dismissed out of hand, but an avenue was left open to refile, and they have.

…Norton told the school board Tuesday that her daughter had been elected freshman and sophomore class president, was selected the student body’s director of philanthropy and was a homecoming princess. That all ended when the investigation began and the girl left Monarch.

“They destroyed her high school career and her lifelong memories,” Norton said. “I saw the light in my daughter’s eyes gleam with future plans of organizing and attending prom, participating in and leading senior class traditions, speaking at graduation and going off to college with the confidence and joy that any student like her would after a successful and encouraging high school experience. And 203 days ago, I watched as that life was extinguished.”

What I find hugely disturbing in this whole story is not this poor, confused child’s crushed hopes and dreams, but how long this insanity has been indulged and facilitated by this mother, and by extension his father. This lad is her youngest child, mind you.

…Norton, who has two older children, told them she enrolled her youngest child in kindergarten as a boy in 2013, four years before she began working for the district. The child transitioned to a girl in first grade. She said other parents and children knew, so it has never been a complete secret.

Do we have a problem, Houston?!

Why, yes – YES, WE DO.

It gets worse.

…She said when her child was in second grade, she asked a school employee to change the child’s gender on her school records. She said then-Superintendent Robert Runcie told her that was the procedure. Runcie left the district in 2021 after an unrelated controversy and was not contacted.

But the district says such changes are only allowed if the parent first gets the child’s birth certificate amended. The birth certificate wasn’t amended until 2021 after Norton started working with the district. The district says after learning about its policy, Norton should have requested in 2017 that her child’s gender be changed back to male on her records.

This mother changed her second-grader’s GENDER on his school records!

HOLY SMOKING NUTJOB

And you know why she didn’t do as instructed by the district about correcting anything?

…Norton told investigators she didn’t because the amended records are accurate — her child is a girl.

And now?

…Norton’s child began taking puberty blockers at age 11 and takes estrogen but has not had gender-affirming surgery. Such procedures are rarely done on minors.

Gender-affirming surgery is also illegal in FL at the moment and, God willing, will remain so, because the butchery to satisfy Munchhausen by Mommy mothers is unconscionable. It’s already despicable enough they are destroying their child’s body chemically without that tiny brain even being able to function rationally and choose for themselves.

It makes me sick to my stomach.

I don’t know if you all recall a column I wrote last year, but this woman – IMHO, she is a monster – is a shining example of what was discussed at length in it.

…In some cases, it’s a classic Munchausen by proxy abuse situation. The parent, almost invariably the mother, is driving a child into the arms of trans activists and gender affirming medical butchers. Always pushing, questioning a child’s natural reticence once things go too far, insisting they know better. I think of Jazz Jennings’s mother and his monstrous doctor, Marci Bowers – for all the world to see – pushing that boy to slice and dice himself to bits for ratings and their own glory.

And it is horrifically abusive. In no way is it “best for the child,” whatever parental moral authority you claim. It’s sick, period.

Kass doesn’t quibble calling it what it is, either.

…It was a column by Dr. Greg Ganske, a former Iowa congressman and retired plastic surgeon who is raising important questions with his latest piece: “Is it Science or Child Abuse Part II.

Of course it is child abuse.

America clings to the delusion it is not child abuse even as we commit mass cultural suicide, as we engage in castration of young minor boys and other irreversible tortures inflicted on young pubescent girls via puberty blockers–on the whims of terribly delusional and tortured parents.

How do you do something so ghastly, so irreparable to your baby?

How does a father stand by and watch his child be maimed and emotionally twisted?

I don’t get it…I just do not get it.

And it makes me sick to my stomach.

I feel so badly for this kiddo. Nothing will change for him because now his mother also gets victimhood status, again, through the problems that she’s basically created. Now, though, it’s all over the news and he’s almost obligated to go through with this charade because his story is now cause célèbre for the Advocate, Pink News, trans activists everywhere, and everyone who hates DeSantis and Florida in general.

What would happen if he told his – hopefully soon-to-be unemployed – mother tomorrow he wanted to be a cowboy or play football…or just experience being a teenage boy? Would there be a chance in hell he’d be allowed to, or does he now “owe her” for everything she’s “sacrificed” for him to be a her?

See how this can get so twisted so quickly?

Leave the kids alone.

Be a mom, not a Mengele.

How is this so hard?
