President Biden had yet another moment where he appeared to “short circuit” at a public event. This latest incident throws gasoline on what is already a raging fire of growing concerns about the 81-year-old president’s cognitive challenges.

The video is much like any number of previous incidents that White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre brushed aside as “deepfakes,” but there does not appear to be editing to the footage of Biden.

Biden appeared to freeze up on Tuesday, struggling with the name of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas while announcing an executive action giving about 500,000 illegal immigrants living in the U.S. a pathway to citizenship.

The embarrassing incident comes after Jean-Pierre suggested that Republicans were altering video.

“It tells you everything that we need to know about how desperate Republicans are here,” KJP said. “And instead of talking about the president’s performance in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative wins, what he’s been able to do for the American people across the country, we’re seeing these deepfakes, these manipulated videos. And it is, again, done in bad faith.”

Social media users were fairly certain about what they saw in the clip — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from X:
