Comedian Bill Maher contended that Democrat demographics aren’t what they think when it comes to a “large black silent majority.”

“They’re not with AOC.”

Ramped-up gaslighting from the Left would have voters believe that President Joe Biden was for average Americans suffering from the administration’s policies as he hobnobbed with celebrities and the elite for campaign contributions.

As former President Donald Trump’s growing support beyond the typical Republican base has become a glaring reality, a conversation between Maher and comedian Larry Wilmore found agreement that the Civil Rights movement had been “hijacked,” and radical progressivism was not a platform black Americans wanted to stand on in the latest installment of the “Club Random Podcast.”

The creator of “The Bernie Mac Show” was suggesting that tackling race issues with comedy had fallen by the wayside when interjected with the need to hear both sides, “Because there is a large black silent majority in my view. They’re not as liberal as the white [Democrats].”

“I certainly, personally know people, black men, who don’t — they’re not with AOC,” he added referencing New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D).

“It’s every black family,” added Wilmore. “It’s 1,000% true.”

Addressing the disparity in multi-generational families and how in the past black voters aligned with the Republican Party, the guest turned to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as the vehicle by which the Democratic Party “hijacked” the Civil Rights movement.

While Wilmore considered it to be more of a “human” movement than one of politics, Maher once again brought up the tone of Biden’s May commencement address at Morehouse College, “What is democracy if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot?”

During the speech, the president said, “You started college just as George Floyd was murdered and there was a reckoning on race. It’s natural to wonder if the democracy you hear about actually works for you. What is democracy if black men are being killed in the street? What is democracy if a trail of broken promises still leaves black — black communities behind? What is democracy if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot? And most of all, what does it mean, as we’ve heard before, to be a black man who loves his country even if it doesn’t love him back in equal measure?”

“It’s condescending,” Wilmore reacted. “I live in the world of aspiration, not desperation because I know those things exist. I’ve talked about them, I make jokes about them, but I always keep it in perspective of if you want to build something, you don’t want to just put band-aids on things in your life. You also want to build things in your life too, and you build things by being inspired.”

Maher added, “It’s a healthier attitude for any individual.”

Days earlier, he had brought it up in the same speech on his HBO program “Real Time” with guest Charlamagne tha God who, despite an unwillingness to endorse Biden, found he partially agreed with the president’s sentiment suggesting black Americans had to be “five times” better to get a fair shot.
