In Norse mythology, Thor “is a hammer-wielding god associated with lightning, thunder, storms, sacred groves and trees, strength, the protection of humankind, hallowing, and fertility.” If you read that and thought that had anything to do with white supremacy, you are an objectively naive person. But if you read that and thought Thor “is a hammer-wielding god,” you are a normal human being.

Students at a high school in Vancouver, Washington have been accused of promoting white supremacy by the school’s DEI office because they proposed a mural of Thor, which is also the school’s unofficial mascot.

According to The Post Millennial:

The school district’s diversity, equity, and inclusion office raised concerns that the painting represents white supremacy and would need to be accompanied by women and people of color to meet the Evergreen Public School district’s racial and gender equity standards, KTTH reports. Klarissa Hightower is the Director of Equity and Inclusion at Evergreen Public Schools.

Student councilors at Mountain View High School in Vancouver proposed the artwork because their school’s mascot is The Thunders, and the name “Thor” translates to “thunder.” There is already a statue of Thor at the school’s main entrance, which added further confusion among the student body government.

Members of the council were summoned to appear before district staff, including the equity advancement specialist. “They had an issue with the image not being racially and gender inclusive, as well as upholding an image of pure colonization, white power, white supremacy, and even going as far as to say that it was alluding to racist and anti-black imagery in the south,” student council member Tara told KTTH. Tara said it was a “very uncomfortable position for a bunch of high school students to be put in.”

People who are this stupid should not be allowed around minors, as their ignorance is clearly a liability at this point. Progressives literally invented the phrase “painfully stupid,” and this story physically hurts. It is that dumb.

The kids obviously did nothing wrong. But the “adults” seem to have needed attention and made an “issue” out of nothing because they are that bored. But that’s what DEI hires do, as they have literally nothing to do. They are basically hired to cause trouble and spread racism, which is exactly what they are doing.

The DEI hires are mad because the mural doesn’t depict white people as evil colonizers, not because it promotes colonialism or whatever crap these idiots made up. They only want white people mentioned if it portrays them in a negative light, and because we have a white, fictitious figure that is Nordic and not portrayed as evil, they have a problem with that.

The students are flabbergasted because obviously, it had nothing to do with white supremacy and everything to do with the fact that Thor is the school’s mascot. But the DEI hire told them they “will maybe understand this perspective when [they are] in [their] 40s and have more life experiences like they do.”

But really what the DEI hire meant was they would “understand” after they have been fully indoctrinated and graduate college dumber.

This is the perfect example of modern edumacation. And I am just upset that people this dumb are allowed around kids, as it should be a crime.
