Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu was before his Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee this morning and disputed Joe Biden’s characterization of a deal Israel is trying to make to get the hostages back.
Biden claimed over the weekend that Israel had proposed a three-part plan that would ultimately lead to a permanent cease-fire.
But Netanyahu said this morning that what Joe Biden described “is not accurate”. He said they can pause the fighting for nearly a month and a half to get the hostages back, but they will not give up a complete victory and will not be ready to stop the war.

Netanyahu in the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee: I will not be ready to stop the war. I will not describe the details of the deal here, but what the US president described is not accurate, there are other details that have not been revealed. We can stop the fighting for 42 days in order to return hostages, but we will not give up a complete victory. For questions – refuse to talk about the number of terrorists that will be released in the deal.
