The ladies of The View were downright giddy on Friday discussing what fate might befall former President Donald Trump now that he’s been convicted in his New York City criminal trial.

Host Whoopi Goldberg first said it was “great to see that our justice system can work,” adding “I want them to give him six months.”

Former federal prosecutor Sunny Hostin chimed in after Goldberg, sharing that she had sources inside District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office that claimed Trump would get a year in prison.

“When you spend a year in prison in New York or under, you serve in Rikers Island,” Hostin explained to her co-hosts.

Hostin also shared a ghoulish dream of hers involving Trump on parole; “A man with a temperament of a toddler cannot withstand all of the things that you would have to do to be on probation and that means he could be sent back to Rikers!”

Goldberg jumped back in suggesting if Trump didn’t do actual time in prison, anybody could just shoot people on 5th Avenue and “not have any problems.”

“I’m hoping for all of our sakes that we are not chasing this,” Goldberg continued. “Because this — if we don’t have any consequences here, we are screwed because it means that everybody and their mama can decide they’re gonna go do what he did. And we give them permission to do what he said he could do, which was shoot people on 5th Avenue and not have any problems.”
